What Harborview needs

Before planning the year, the leadership team wants one view of the whole program, read the same way path by path, including what its two providers’ own documents cover.

The Review gives the partnership its starting point, because ETI360 and the school’s travel lead now share one reading of every program path.

What Harborview receives

Harborview International School · Travel Program Review, sample edition

Providers. The review also evaluates the documents of Harborview’s two providers, Line & Landmark Cycle Travel and Northmark Orienteering. Line & Landmark’s evaluation is shown below as a sample edition, with its own date and no school named; the orienteering provider’s is not included in this example. ETI360 shows what each provider’s documents cover. It does not certify, approve, rank or recommend providers.

Line & Landmark Cycle Travel · Provider Evaluation, sample edition

Line & Landmark is a fictional trip provider created by ETI360 for demonstration purposes.

Harborview International School · Travel Year Guide, 2026-27

The year. After the Review, ETI360 prepares Harborview’s Travel Year Guide, which sets out the school’s year of trips in six phases with the people each step involves. The school sets the dates and changes them as the year moves, and the guide sets no deadlines.

Harborview International School · Trip Budgets, March 2027

Budgets. ETI360 sets out the budget for each of Harborview’s 35 March trips in one format, from the provider’s cost and flights to GST and card fees, so leadership can compare the trips side by side. The school sets its prices.

How it works

  1. 1. What Harborview sends, by email

    • Its nine travel documents, from the trips policy to the service learning and CAS guidelines
    • Each provider’s documents, such as an operating manual and a tour catalog
  2. 2. What ETI360 does

    • Holds a scoping conversation with the leadership team, then sends one email listing the documents needed.
    • Reads each document in full and enters each statement as an evidence line with its document, section and page.
    • Reads each program path, and each provider’s documents, against the ten areas of the ETI360 Operational Capability Framework.
  3. 3. What Harborview decides

    • Which program paths are in scope and which providers to include.
    • How to weigh and sequence the open items.
